FAQ

Why are your services free?
The only money that you pay is to Disney, and because they want to ensure that your vacation is as magical as it can be, they allow trained Independent Travel Consultants, such as myself, to assist you with your vacation planning.

I am an affiliate of Academy Travel and they have been designated as an official “Earmarked” travel agency by The
Walt Disney Travel Company and is an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner. They get commission from Disney when they book vacations and they make sure that I get part of that for the vacations I assist with.

So, I pay no extra money for using your services?
Correct! In fact, with my experience I can often help you find ways to save you money on your Disney vacations.

What makes you qualified to plan Disney vacations?
I’ve been around Disney since 1987 when I started working for Disneyland and have trained thousands of new employees during my time there. Today, as an Independent Travel Consultant, I have had additional training which includes passing courses through the College of Disney Knowledge,  as well as staying at many of the Disney Resorts and sailing with the Disney Cruise Line. Tough work, but somebody’s got to do it. 🙂  To learn more about me, please visit my About Me page.

How can you help me with my Disney vacation plans?
I book your reservations for you, and help you understand all the many options and experiences available so that I can customize a Disney vacation that’s right for you, your group, and your budget.

Can you take care of my airline reservations?
Usually not, but some vacation packages do include airfare. Please contact me for details.

What sets you apart from the other Independent Travel Consultants?
Few Independent Travel Consultants have the vast knowledge and experience with Disney that I have been fortunate to acquire over the years. I’ve worked in The Disney University departments at both Disneyland in Anaheim, California and The Walt Disney Studios in Burbank, California. With my husband, a Disney writer/historian, I am the co-author of two Disney books. Having had the opportunity to speak with many people who knew and worked with Walt Disney, I understand the importance of continuing his dream to ensure that all of his Guests have an exceptional experience.
